“Bahrain domain name registration gives a Bahraini identity to local brands, in particular, or people in general who are interested in the technological field, which distinguishes them from the rest of the names of other websites in the Internet world. .

“Name registration will become accessible to everyone and in a simple way compared to the previous situation.”

In addition to the domain name (.bh), an international top-level domain name in Arabic has been assigned for those who wish to use the names of their websites in Arabic. Priority will be given to those with a .bh digital presence to reserve Arabic extensions for six months from the launch of the service, after which it will be made available to the general public.

Registration for trademark and CR holders will open in the fourth quarter of this year, before local entities, institutions, individuals and finally the international public can purchase .bh domains.
